Ryan Gilleland is a VFX Producer at Sony Pictures Imageworks responsible for crewing, artist relations, and budgeting on productions. He most recently completed work on the animated feature HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA: TRANSFORMANIA for Sony Pictures Animation and Amazon.

Gilleland previously worked on the Netflix animated feature OVER THE MOON, directed by the legendary Glen Keane. He also served as Senior Digital Production Manager on the animated features HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION and THE EMOJI MOVIE.

In 2015, Gilleland joined the Creative Legacy Team at Walt Disney Animation Studios where he worked as a Feature Relations Production Manager on MOANA and the Academy Award®-winning ZOOTOPIA.  

Gilleland initially joined Imageworks as a coordinator and worked his way up to Associate Production Manager and Digital Production Manager.  His early Imageworks credits include: SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE, CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2,
G-FORCE, BEOWULF, MONSTER HOUSE, OPEN SEASON, and THE POLAR EXPRESS.

Gilleland began his career in 2000 working with Rob Minkoff and Jason Clark on STUART LITTLE 2.

Gilleland is a member of the PGA.
